1、創始人

宜家的創始人英格瓦·坎普拉德1926年出生在瑞典南部的斯馬蘭。他在靠近Agunnaryd小村莊的Elmtaryd農場長大。英格瓦年少時就立志開辦自己的公司。

起初，他騎著自行車向鄰居銷售火柴。他發現從斯德哥爾摩批量購買火柴可以拿到很便宜的價格，然後再以很低的價格進行零售，從中仍能賺到不小的利潤。後來，他的生意范圍不斷擴大，又開始賣魚、聖誕樹裝飾物、種子、圓珠筆和鉛筆等。

2、LOGO標志
